Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Organizations Who can list? Anyone with a Job, Internship, or Volunteer opportunity that is relevant to the Pittsburgh Region’s arts community! Whether you are an individual, a nonprofit, or a for-profit organization, ArtsWorks.org is your resource. How can I post listings? ArtsWorks.org offers an online, user-friendly tutorial to walk you through the listing process. Once you have created a user name and password, you can return easily each time you have a new listing. If you get stuck, you can contact David Seals, Update Editor, at 412.391.2060 x227 or dseals@pittsburghartscouncil.org. Is there a cost? Searching ArtsWorks.org is a free service open to the general public. Additionally, listing opportunities is completely free for members of the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. Non-members can list at the following rates, at 30 days per listing: $25 per job listing; $15 per internship or volunteer listing. Payments can be made by credit card by contacting ProArts Tickets at www.proartstickets.org/calendarresults.cfm or 412.394.3353. Checks can be mailed to ProArts Tickets, c/o ArtsWorks, 707 Penn Avenue, 2nd Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Will opportunities still be listed in Update Newsletter? Yes! Update will still post listings in the same categories. However, Job, Internship, and Volunteer listings will change to a condensed format, linked online to www.ArtsWorks.org (please see next question.) Do I still need to send my listings to the Arts Council? It depends on the type of listing. Job, Internship, or Volunteer listings should be submitted to www.ArtsWorks.org, and will be downloaded by Update staff on the 15th of each month. All other listings should be submitted, as before, to info@pittsburghartscouncil.org: Calls for Artists, Announcements, Grant Opportunities, Publications, Spaces Available, Free Lectures, and New Faces. Can I continue listing Job, Internship, or Volunteer opportunities in Update and not ArtsWorks.org? No. Because of the new, condensed format, only job, internship, or volunteer opportunities from ArtsWorks.org will be posted to Update. |
